The competition was organized by the Guild of Various Crafts and Small Entrepreneurship and Bolesławiec County. The event was held to promote professions that can be studied at county schools.
Patrycja Kantor won the competition (she created a hairstyle à la Marie Antoinette). The second prize went to Beata Duch (Scarlett O'Hara). Third place was shared ex aequo by Małgorzata Gruźlewska and Agnieszka Brzozowska (both presented Roman-inspired hairstyles). Distinctions were awarded to Klaudia Stępień (an African-style look) and Sandra Kotlińska (Georgiana Cavendish).
During the gala, among others, the participants' supervisors and the principals of schools training future hairdressers were also honored.
Moreover, Senator Jan Michalski funded a trip to the parliament of the Republic of Poland for all the hairstyling masters and their models.
