– In 2015, alongside the 70th anniversary of the end of the bloodiest world war in history, we want to pay special tribute to those who created the Polish state in the Recovered Territories, enriching this area with the culture brought from their homelands, from the Eastern Borderlands of the Republic of Poland and from central Poland. The 70th anniversary of the “great migration of peoples” is a moment when we want to reflect on those who created their new, small homeland here – the event organizers say.
