Dear residents of Legnica!
For the third time, I invite you to participate in the Legnica Civic Budget. Investments selected during the first edition of the LBO are already serving residents, while those selected in the second edition are now entering the implementation phase. All these activities were made possible by our joint commitment. During the two years of the LBO’s operation, 164 projects were submitted. Residents selected a total of 25 projects for implementation, casting nearly 14,500 votes. Thank you for all your ideas and for every vote cast.
We are beginning the submission of new projects to be implemented in 2016. This is a special time when, at your initiative, decisions are being made to improve the quality of life in your immediate surroundings.
The new edition of this major community initiative brings changes thanks to your feedback and suggestions. Taking into account the opinions collected through a survey, we have created an additional, eleventh area in the city. We are allocating approximately PLN 2.2 million in the budget for the implementation of projects—so far, PLN 200,000 per area. In accordance with residents’ expectations, voting will take place exclusively online. You can cast your vote without leaving home. Everyone who does not have a computer or internet access will be provided with assistance and support at every voting point.
