BKS Bobrzanie, a fourth-tier side, suffered their first defeat of the spring round. Andrzej Kisiel’s team lost in Legnica to table leaders Miedź II. From the referee’s first whistle, the fired-up hosts imposed their style of play; they played faster, more accurately and more decisively, and took the lead in the second minute of the match. A shot from 20 metres Przemysława Wichłacza caught both the defenders and the goalkeeper from Bolesławiec off guard.

It might have seemed that the Bolesławiec players would rally after conceding, but six minutes later Miedź were already leading 2:0. The goal came after a free-kick. Patryk Janiczak saved Tomasz Wojciechowski’s shot, but he had little chance with the rebound from Adama Wasilewskiego. After 20 minutes, the hosts’ pressure eased somewhat, but the Bolesławiec side could not threaten the Legnica goal. Patryk Długosz had the best chance to score a contact goal, but his shot ended up in the side netting of the home goal.

In the second half, the BKS players had more possession and launched several counterattacks. Unfortunately, the moves did not end with a shot. Our players performed poorly and lost the ball before the hosts’ penalty area. In one attack, Radosław Pawlusiński tried to lob the Miedź goalkeeper. Unfortunately, the ball did not find its way into the goal. The final score was set in the 82nd minute by Łukasz Chodyga. BKS Bobrzanie – Miedź II Legnica 0:4 (0:3). After beating BKS, table leaders Miedź II secured promotion to the third league. In the next round, Bolesławiec will host Sokół Wielka Lipa.
