As in previous years, the championship organizers—commonly known as the AMP—will also give cyclists who are unable to compete in the championships an opportunity to race. The additional “Jelenia Góra MTB Race” is intended for riders in the junior, U-23, elite and masters categories. The event is scheduled for Sunday, 31 May—during the break between the women’s and men’s main races (start at approximately 11:00 a.m.).
As the event has been included in the regional DZKol calendar, Jelenia Góra can expect not only a strong field but also a good turnout. The course is among the most difficult in Poland, and although the organizers plan to make it somewhat easier than last year, it will still pose many challenges for participants. You can register for the race using the entry form posted on www.amp-mtb.pl (the link is also provided below). The regulations for the “Jelenia Góra MTB Race” are available there as well.
The winners in each age category will receive prizes funded by sponsors. These will include Uvex glasses, Shimano equipment, Brubeck clothing, Nikwax waterproofing products, vouchers for Termy Cieplickie and Brunox lubricants.
We already encourage you to take part in this event—you can register at online.datasport.pl.
