Women and men will compete in the following age categories: 16–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59 and over 60.
The event will begin with a warm-up led by an instructor. The competitors will then set off on a 6-kilometre route. Judges will oversee the Championship.
The organisers provide electronic timekeeping, refreshments, hot drinks and prizes – statuettes, cups and commemorative medals. There will also be a separate classification for people with disabilities.
Applications are accepted
- until 16 April by completing the application form on the website www.osir.legnica.pl (under the Nordic Walking Championship tab)
- in person on the day of the event: at the competition office until 10:00 a.m.
