This next-generation low-floor bus is 12 metres long. Passengers have 28 seats and 67 standing places at their disposal. Wheelchairs and prams for small children can easily fit inside. The bus meets the highest environmental standards.
The Solaris Urbino 12 is made of the highest-quality stainless materials. It has an ABS system and an ARS anti-slip system. The doors are equipped with a mechanism protecting passengers from being trapped. The bus has a monitoring system—three cameras inside and one outside. It also features systems enabling economical driving, counting passengers and extinguishing fires in the engine, as well as full air conditioning. Most importantly, it is accessible to passengers with disabilities—it has a ramp for wheelchair access and a lowered chassis.
The Solaris Urbino 12 bus cost PLN 580,000. For some time, the manufacturer used it for presentations on the German market.
