The application to honour president Helena Smoleńska was submitted by the Mayor of Bolesławiec Piotr Roman. The distinction was presented by Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Economy Ilona Antoniszyn-Klik during the MALVA – You Can Do More conference, held on 19 March this year at the Forum cinema in Bolesławiec.
The conference brought together nearly 300 active women. The organisers of the meeting were: the “Aktywność Kobiet” Association, Wałbrzyska Special Economic Zone “Invest-Park”, the Marshal’s Office of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, the City of Bolesławiec and the Lower Silesian Agricultural Advisory Centre.
The Ministry of Economy provided patronage for the conference.
