On Sunday, March 22, the second edition of the Cross Duathlon took place in Czerwieńsk near Zielona Góra. The event was organized by I ROCK Triathlon Zielona Góra together with the Ronin cycling club.
The competition consisted of three stages. First, the athletes competed on a 4-kilometre running course, then mounted their bicycles to cover a technically demanding 16-kilometre forest route, and finally ran another 2 kilometres.
Among the 60 competitors, the youngest participant, Klaudia Petters from Bolesławiec, performed very well. She won the women’s classification, while also setting a course record in this category.
