The amendments impose on housing associations and housing cooperatives the obligation to submit a declaration stating the amount of the fee for municipal waste management and to pay this fee to the City Office. A cooperative or housing association submits one declaration (rather than one for each individual unit) and pays one fee.
The change applies to apartments in the housing cooperative and housing association housing stock. Single-family homes and business entities submit declarations under the existing rules.
