The Bolesławiec branch took over the holdings of the closed branch in Lubań. Its area of responsibility covers the counties of Bolesławiec, Lubań and Zgorzelec. The holdings consist of records created from the 14th century to the present day. The archive provides a basis for scholarly research into the history of the region. Users have access to a research room where they can consult the records. Bolesławiec will also have conference and exhibition facilities intended for educational and scholarly activities.
