As reported by the mining portal nettg.pl, Wojciech Pachnik, a resident of Lubków (Warta Bolesławiecka commune) and a student at PWr, proved to be the best in this year’s mining knowledge competition, held as part of the School of Underground Mining.
“My family has no mining traditions, but apparently something is still in our genes. My younger brother, an eleven-year-old, became a laureate of a knowledge tournament about KGHM [pisaliśmy o tym w materiale Staś Pachnik zwycięzcą Olimpiady Wiedzy o KGHM i Regionie – przyp. „ii”], and now I am winning a prestigious competition. It gives one food for thought,” Wojciech Pachnik told the nettg.pl portal.
