The opening of works by Krystyna Gay-Kutschenreiter and Stanisława Wojda-Pytlińska was held on Friday at the Format Gallery of the Municipal Public Library in Bolesławiec.
Krystyna Gay-Kutschenreiter has been involved in artistic sculpture for more than 30 years. Among other distinctions, she received the Golden Cross of Merit for training ceramic professionals. In 1999, she was awarded the Gold Badge of the Association of Polish Art Artists. Her works have been presented many times in Poland and abroad, in Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, Sweden and Belarus.
Stanisława Wojda-Pytlińska teaches children and young people. She runs the Academy of Art at the Bolesławiec Cultural Centre. Her works have been presented, among other places, at the Pomeranian Dukes’ Castle in Szczecin and at the Schlesisch Oberlausitzer Dorfmuseum in Markersdorf. For her wide-ranging work, she was awarded, among other distinctions, the Badge of Merit for Cultural Activity (1981) and the Medal of the Commission of National Education (1999).
The “a capriccio” exhibition will be available until 21 July.
