Although Shrek, the alpaca from Nasze Zoo Zgorzelec-Goerlitz, is no longer a fully capable male, he still adores members of the opposite sex. The female alpaca Nakoma, who stays with Shrek in the farmyard enclosure, had sometimes already had enough of Shrek’s advances. And so that she could occasionally get a break from her admirer, a second lady—the beautiful Dolores—moved into the enclosure.
Dolores is two years old and comes from Tierpark in Nordhorn (Lower Saxony). At first, the females approached each other cautiously, but after some time they took a liking to each other.
And Shrek? He seems proud of his female company.
