Cezary Pazura graduated from the Acting Department of the National Film School in Łódź. He is one of Poland’s most popular and beloved actors, as well as the creator of his own cabaret show. He has appeared in more than 60 Polish, Austrian and German films. He is a multiple winner of the Golden Duck. In 1991 and 1996, he received the Golden Lions of Gdańsk. His role in the film “Pigs 2: The Last Blood” earned him an award at the International Film Festival in Valenciennes.
He worked, among others, with Andrzej Wajda, Krzysztof Kieślowski, Juliusz Machulski, Władysław Pasikowski and Marek Koterski. He created unforgettable performances in the films “Sztos”, “Boys Don’t Cry”, “The Career of Nikos Dyzma”, “Kiler”, “Ajlawju”, “Happy New York” and “Nothing Funny”. The gangster comedy “Weekend” marked his directorial debut.
In Jelenia Góra, Pazura will present his stand-up program “Kabaret z Pazurem”. Tickets (PLN 45 in advance, PLN 50 on the day of the performance) are available at the JCK ticket office at 28/30 Bankowa Street and at www.bilety.jck.pl. The ticket office is open Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., as well as for two hours before the event.
The performance will take place on 14 February (Saturday) in the JCK Auditorium (Bankowa Street). It starts at 7:00 p.m..
