On Saturday, BKS Bolesławiec’s senior team played an away match against Górnik Złotoryja. In the first half, the players of both teams failed to impress. Slow ball movement and play in midfield produced no goals. Krzysztof Kaliciak failed to take advantage of one of the few chances in the first half. The home team’s striker failed to connect with the ball from close range. The game became more lively in the second half. The Górnik and BKS players had several good opportunities to score. Our players made the most of two of them.

In the 61st minute, following a counterattack down the right side of the pitch, Łukasz Rudyk played the ball to Wojtek Walusiak, who scored with a first-time shot. Paweł Fulczyński, Wojtek Walusiak again and Józef Pietrzak had chances to extend the one-goal lead. The first two narrowly missed, while the Górnik goalkeeper made a difficult save from the third player’s shot. Artur Baliński and Tomasz Florczak posed a threat with their efforts for the home team, but BKS goalkeeper Marek Przykłota was flawless. In the 85th minute, BKS were already 2–0 ahead. Tomasz Jasiński passed to Paweł Rissmann, who beat the home goalkeeper and set the final score. BKS Bolesławiec defeated Górnik Złotoryja 2–0 away.
