For the fifteenth time, people with disabilities from the city and Bolesławiec County are taking part in a Christmas wafer meeting. This year, the ceremony is attended by around 800 people with disabilities from the city and Bolesławiec County, 150 volunteers, soldiers from the unit in Bolesławiec, and many other people who helped organize the event.
The Christmas wafer meeting is being held in the sports hall at I Liceum Ogólnokształcące in Bolesławiec. The special guest is Auxiliary Bishop of the Diocese of Legnica Marek Mendyk. Priests, the authorities of Bolesławiec County and the surrounding municipalities, as well as Senator Jan Michalski, are also present. In addition to Mass led by the bishop, communal carol singing and the exchange of greetings are also planned. The people with disabilities will also share a meal and watch a nativity play. The meeting will end at around 1:00 p.m.
