On Saturday, January 10, Bolesławieckie Towarzystwo Siatkarskie Elektros faced the table leaders, KKS Ren-But Złotoryja, away from home. The hosts defeated the Bolesławiec team 3–0 (25–22, 25–19, 25–18).
“In Złotoryja, we wanted to cause a surprise and take points from the league leaders. We had been working hard in training recently, and the win in the friendly against Kowary made us feel positive,” comments Tomasz Włoszczyński, captain of the Bolesławiec team. “However, we could not cope with the Złotoryja team’s serves. We could have competed with them in every other aspect, but on that day they proved to be the more complete team. On January 17, we play against second-placed Rośiek Syców, and we will do everything we can to make amends for the previous defeat.
