The tragedy occurred on December 30 last year in an apartment on Gdańska Street in Bolesławiec. The 33-year-old daughter, in the presence of her own child, killed her 62-year-old mother with a knife. The reason? The latter had interfered in how the detained woman raised her children.

The perpetrator hid the woman’s body... in a wardrobe. Investigators found it on New Year’s Eve.

The 33-year-old admitted her guilt. On January 2, around noon, the court will decide whether the matricide suspect will be placed in pre-trial detention.

The woman faces up to life imprisonment.

The Bolesławiec District Prosecutor’s Office is conducting an investigation against 33-year-old Anna P., suspected of murdering her 62-year-old mother, Elżbieta G.

The tragic incident occurred on December 30, 2014, in Bolesławiec, in Anna P.’s apartment. During Elżbieta G.’s visit to her daughter, the women argued about the way the suspect raised her children. At one point, in the kitchen, Anna P. grabbed a knife and stabbed the victim several times in the chest. Elżbieta G. died as a result of the wounds. Anna P. then hid the body in a wardrobe.

The following day, it was found by the suspect’s husband.

On December 31, 2014, officers of the Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters, in the presence of a prosecutor, carried out procedural activities at the scene, securing evidence of the crime. Anna P. admitted to committing the crime of which she was accused. Due to her health condition, she was placed in a hospital in Bolesławiec.

On January 2, 2015, the Bolesławiec District Court, at the request of the Bolesławiec district prosecutor, ordered preventive detention for P. for a period of three months[podkreślenia – red.].

However, because of the suspect’s health condition, she cannot currently be placed in a detention facility and will remain in hospital.
