The “Czyścik” household appliance and consumer electronics disposal project, created by Maciej Borowski, Tomasz Twardochleb, Krzysztof Fałat and Damian Białek, won the “Young Entrepreneur” competition. The winners received the competition’s main prize: a cheque for PLN 1,000. Second place went to a project involving the breeding of meat geese, developed by Marta Pikul. Third place was awarded to two projects. The first was the “Matrix” Game Arcade, created by Anna Kopała, Katarzyna Michalska and Paulina Mitera. The second was “Perpetus,” developed by Mariola Patryarcha and Ewelina Jędras. A distinction was also awarded to Patryk Nowak for the “Dzika Róża” Tearoom project.

The “Young Entrepreneur” competition was organized by Bolesławieckie Towarzystwo Gospodarcze. Thirty entries were submitted for the competition, all of which had to take the form of business plans. The individual placements were decided by the Competition Committee, consisting of: Józefa Witas (chair), Mieczysław Witas, Tadeusz Wójcik, Kazimierz Marczewski, Stanisław Bobek and Małgorzata Kowalska. The awards ceremony took place on Wednesday in the Council Chamber of Bolesławiec Town Hall.
