Drivers should expect speed restrictions and other minor traffic disruptions, among others, on Chałubińskiego, Chopina, Heweliusza and Domeyki streets. Roadworks and works along pedestrian routes are also continuing on other streets. This is caused not only by roadworks, but also by façade works on Piłsudskiego, Groszowa, Wolności and Grottgera streets, where scaffolding has been erected, forcing sidewalks to be narrowed or pedestrian traffic to be redirected to the other side of the street.

Meanwhile, a very extensive area of roadworks can be seen on 1 Maja, Łomnicka and Podgórzyńska streets. This is due to the construction of “interchange hubs” in these locations. The greatest difficulties are occurring on 1 Maja Street, near the railway station, but progress there is the fastest: the wearing course of asphalt has already been laid on the section from the “tunnel” to the railway station, construction of stormwater drainage channels is continuing, and a binder course has been laid, among other works. The work related to the modernisation of the lighting network, however, has been completed.
