As reported by Andrzej Szymkowiak, director of the Municipal Roads Authority, a dozen or so new streetlights have been installed on Zwycięstwa Avenue, and older but already worn-out ones have also been replaced. The investment cost approximately PLN 100,000.
Let us recall that residents of the housing estate adjacent to Zwycięstwa Avenue had campaigned for this investment. Many of them commute to work and travel home by public buses. They use the stops on Jaworzyńska Street, which they reach along this avenue. The additional lighting increases their sense of safety.
