Jacek Protasiewicz opened his parliamentary office on Ogrodowa Street in Bolesławiec. Members and supporters of Bolesławiec’s Civic Platform took part in the ceremony. It is Jacek Protasiewicz’s first office opened in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship.
"The offices of Members of the European Parliament exist to bring Poles closer to what the European Union is concerned with and what decisions it makes," Jacek Protasiewicz said during the office’s opening ceremony. In the MEP’s view, the office is primarily intended to help people make use of the opportunities provided by Poland’s membership in the European Union.
"I want advisers and consultants with knowledge of EU law and EU funds to visit the office regularly," the MEP said. And they, Jacek Protasiewicz assures us, are to help people.
In addition to general knowledge about how the European Union operates, the office will provide information about the conditions for taking up work within the European Union, as well as the conditions for receiving money from European funds. Jacek Protasiewicz’s MEP office is located at 6 Ogrodowa Street, on the third floor of the building. The office is open every Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
