In the 15th-round match of the Lower Silesian fourth division, BKS Bobrzanie defeated Zjednoczeni Żarów 3:2 (3:1). The match was full of hard-fought action and remained tense until the very end. All the more so because the visitors scored a contact goal late on and could even have equalized. Fortunately for BKS, during one of Żarów’s attacks the ball hit the post of the goal guarded by Rafał Mazur. The Bolesławiec side could have avoided the nervous final minutes if only they had converted their clear-cut chances. It is also a shame that, on occasions when Marcin Kraśnicki broke into open positions, passes were directed to other BKS players who were marked by Żarów players. This does not change the fact that Emmanuel Ohagwu and Kacper Wojciechowski also had several good opportunities. Unfortunately, they were unable to turn them into goals. Fortunately, the result did not change and the three points stayed in Bolesławiec.
The goals for our team were scored by: Kacper Wojciechowski (in the 19th and 37th minutes), assisted by Emmanuel Ohagwu, and Marek Dudka (in the 22nd minute, from a penalty after a foul on Emmanuel Ohagwu). The visitors’ goals were scored by: Damian Uszczyk (in the 26th minute) and Sebastian Dubicki (in the 87th minute). Next week, BKS will play an early fixture from the spring round. Their opponent will be Włókniarz Mirsk.
BKS: Mazur – Wakulski, Bochnia, Dudkiewicz, Pazio, Dzięgleski (81' Pawlusiński), Dudka (68' Kapusz), Kosior, Kraśnicki (80' Ziółkowski), Wojciechowski (88' Kliwak), Ohagwu.
