During a preschool celebration organised under the slogan “A Meeting of Fairy Tales,” preschoolers, guided by a good fairy and King Bajdurek, entered an enchanted world of fairy tales and legends. They were also helped by well-known fairy-tale characters: Little Red Riding Hood, Hansel and Gretel, Snow White, Cinderella, and the Fisherman and the Goldfish. The kindergarten staff took on these roles.
For the preschoolers, it was a day full of laughter, joy and wonderful fun. That day, all the children were also dressed as fairy-tale characters, with princesses, fairies, dwarfs, Batmans, Supermans, pirates and fairy-tale animals predominating. The preschoolers took part in many music-based games and fairy-tale competitions. They particularly enjoyed broomstick races, catching goldfish, searching for Cinderella’s slipper and eating gingerbread cookies hanging from a string. The ladies also prepared a delightful surprise for the children: scenes from fairy tales, which preceded each competition.
On that day, not only the children but also the facility’s staff had a great time, because fairy tales are close to everyone’s heart. “They are to the soul what bread is to the body,” so let us read fairy tales to children and introduce them to the world of legends, so that they may be wise, kind and happy.
