The project was made possible thanks to the European Union funding obtained by Gmina Zgorzelec under the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development. The funding amounted to PLN 218,000.
As part of stages I and II of the project entitled “Development of the Housing Estate in Tylice,” an internal access road, parking spaces with concrete block paving, sidewalks and a technical yard were constructed; areas for the collection of solid waste were designated; and an information kiosk and benches were installed.
The former state agricultural farm housing estate in Tylice is an area of particular importance to residents. Thanks to the investment, the modernized square encourages social interaction and the organization of festivals and other events important to the village. The installed information kiosk serves an informational function, particularly for visitors who wish to learn about the area and obtain information about the region.
In the near future, Gmina Zgorzelec plans to carry out further stages of developing the housing estate in Tylice.
