Bielawa Dolna took second place, receiving a prize of PLN 7,000. Spytków won third place and PLN 5,000. A further 9 distinctions were also awarded.
The official prize-giving ceremony is planned for the October session of the Zgorzelec County Council. As starosta Artur Bieliński emphasizes, the aim of the competition is to shape residents’ civic and cultural awareness, nurture and develop local identity, stimulate economic activity, preserve the cultural and natural environment while taking the needs of future generations into account, and shape and maintain spatial order.
