The car park will be built near Primary School No. 9. The tender for its construction was won by one of the local companies. The work is expected to continue until the end of November this year. There will be 32 parking spaces, including two for people with disabilities. Residents of the area had been seeking this investment for some time. They effectively took advantage of the opportunity provided by the LBO.
The construction of the car park on Marynarska Street is now the last investment being carried out as part of last year's participatory budget. The remaining projects were completed in the summer. The start of construction of the car park was delayed by a problem involving low- and medium-voltage networks located near the investment site. The cables will be relocated. The investor, the Municipal Roads Authority, reached an agreement on the matter with the energy company.
