In 30-degree heat, BKS’s senior team played its first friendly match ahead of the 2014/2015 season. The team coached by Andrzej Kisiel faced Promień Żary, relegated from the III league. Saturday’s match ended in a 1–1 draw (0–0). BKS’s goal in the second half was scored by Jakub Kosior. Jakub is 18 years old. He is a product of Chrobry Nowogrodziec’s youth system. From 2011, he represented Zagłębie Lubin. He plays as a midfielder. Michał Kapusz also played for BKS. Michał is also 18 years old. He plays in defense. He is a product of BKS’s youth system and, like Jakub, most recently played for Zagłębie Lubin.

The team was also joined by goalkeeper Sebastian Łokaj, known to Bolesławiec supporters, and midfielder Łukasz Mikołajczyk. Unfortunately, Marek Majka suffered a serious knee injury during Saturday’s match. The BKS forward was carried off the field and taken to a hospital in Bolesławiec. Around 100 supporters watched Saturday’s friendly match.

BKS played in the first half with: Sebastian Łokaj, Krzysztof Janicki, Piotr Bryłkowski, Michał Kapusz, Mariusz Wakulski, Piotr Dzięgleski, Jacek Bochnia, Jakub Kosior, Daniel Ziółkowski, Emmanuel Ohagwu and Marek Majka. Cezary Purta, Łukasz Mikołajczyk, Eryk Kliwak and Marcin Kraśnicki appeared on the field in the second half.

Upcoming friendlies

Next Saturday (July 26) at 11:00 a.m., BKS will host Kuźnia Jawor at the stadium on Spółdzielcza Street. On Wednesday (July 30) at 6:00 p.m., the Bolesławiec team will face Górnik Złotoryja away.
