Sister Agnieszka Wieczorek was the director of the Bolesławiec Children’s Home for eight years. She will leave the institution on Monday, June 30. The director sister is leaving reconciled with her superiors’ decision, although, on a human level, she is deeply affected by parting with the children, staff and friends. She is taking over another Children’s Home in Legnica, where she will help children and build relationships with the courts, city and county authorities, and residents. Exactly as she did in Bolesławiec.

At the City Council session, Mayor Piotr Roman formally bid farewell to the director sister, who had been a very important person for our city and county. The moved sister thanked the residents, councillors and mayor for their hospitality in Bolesławiec.

“If God gives out smiles, Bolesławiec was such a smile for me,” the sister said in her farewell speech.

The editorial team of the Istotne Informacje portal and newspaper joins in all the heartfelt words and thanks that Sister Agnieszka received during the farewell at the City Council session.
