The new BKS board was elected during Tuesday’s extraordinary meeting in the hall of the Bolesławiec County Office. It was already the second such meeting. The first was held on Tuesday, June 17, but the board could not be elected at that time. Yesterday’s meeting (on June 24) ended with the election of three new board members. In place of the departing members: Jan Wocha, Jacek Szymczak, Maciej Małkowski and Henryk Szewc and Piotr Bieńkowski, Dariusz Mielcarek and Sebastian Zaremba as well as Janusz Rajczakowski were elected.
Only Mirosław Lik from the previous board decided to remain. In the near future, the new board plans to meet with the players and coaches of all sections. A new president will also be elected. Jakub Wołyński is expected to become coach of the BKS senior team. However, the potential senior-team coach makes taking up the position dependent on the outcome of talks he is holding with the club. At the end of the meeting, the new board thanked its predecessor for many years of work for BKS. The departing board members, in turn, declared that they would help with the handover of duties.
Below, we present profiles of the new members of the BKS Bobrzanie board:
