The awards ceremony for winners of competitions organized by PCEiKK in Bolesławiec took place on June 17 at the Old Theater. The ceremony was attended, among others, by Deputy Starost Stanisław Chwojnicki, Deputy Chair of the Bolesławiec County Council Jarosław Molenda, Deputy Mayor of Bolesławiec Kornel Filipowicz, Deputy Chair of the Bolesławiec City Council Janina Piestrak-Babijczuk, Head of Bolesławiec Municipality Andrzej Dutkowski and his deputy Roman Jaworski, Head of the Social Affairs Department of the City Office Beata Sulska, Chair of the County Council’s Education, Culture and Sports Committee Jan Russ, County Councilor Robert Tomczyk, as well as the Bolesławiec County Starost.

The gala was opened by Cezariusz Rudyk, director of the Powiatowe Centrum Edukacji i Kształcenia Kadr: “A total of 4,931 students took part in our competitions during this school year. Today we will present awards to the winners; there are 209 of them. We have become accustomed to these figures. But it is not the case that such a system for supporting gifted students is practiced in every county. I would like to warmly thank everyone who is involved in implementing this system.”

That day, winners of competitions including the following were awarded: the 1st County Biblical Olympiad, “The Gospel according to St. Matthew”; the 6th County Knowledge Competition on John Paul II, “John Paul – The Road to Sainthood” (authors: Beata Chmielik, Piotr Chmielik); the 12th Bolesławiec Mathematics Competition (author: Jerzy Janowicz); the 10th County Spelling Tournament, “10 Years of the European Union”; the 5th County Polish Language Competition for Fourth-Grade Students, “Be Polite with Everyone, and Warm with Those Close to You”; the 8th County Polish Language Competition for Fifth-Grade Primary School Students, “On Familiar Terms with the Polish Language”; the 12th County Polish Language Competition for Primary School Students, “The Book – From Papyrus to the Electronic Book”; the 12th County Polish Language Competition for Middle School Students, “The Book – From Papyrus to the Electronic Book” (author: Krystyna Raszka); the 2nd County Physics Competition for Middle School Students (author: Zdzisław Zarzycki); the 7th County German Language Competition for Middle School Students, “Deutschmeister” (authors: Adriana Muniak, Barbara Leśniak); the County Art Knowledge Tournament named after Jolanta Ajlikow-Czarnecka (authors: Anna Bober-Tubaj, Tadeusz Orawiec); and “zDolny Ślązak” and “zDolny Ślązaczek.” Detailed results are provided below:

The gala was also an opportunity to thank the authors of the competitions and the directors of institutions cooperating with the Powiatowe Centrum Edukacji i Kształcenia Kadr.
