On 29 May 2014, Primary School No. 3 in Bolesławiec was awarded the “School Concerned with Safety” Certificate. The ceremony took place in the assembly hall of School Complex No. 3 in Wrocław. The certificates were presented by Deputy Superintendent Danuta Leśniewska. Performances by students from Wrocław schools added splendour to the ceremony.

The Provincial Competition Commission evaluated:

  • reducing the number of accidents at school
  • cooperation with supporting institutions
  • social and legal education
  • the effectiveness of activities.

“The Certificate we received is an expression of the actions undertaken, resulting in an improved sense of safety among the students of Primary School No. 3. Safety is one of the important priorities in the educational process. Thanks to the commitment of the teachers, students gain knowledge and grow with a sense of responsibility for themselves and their surroundings,” Barbara Dąbrowska-Bugaj, headteacher of Primary School No. 3, reports.
