The incident occurred on Saturday, June 7, on Kościuszki Street. Near Ceramika Artystyczna, a Mazda passenger car collided with a Suzuki motorcycle. We learned unofficially that the Mazda driver wanted to turn left from Kościuszki Street onto Góralska Street and failed to yield the right of way to the motorcycle.
A man and a woman were riding the two-wheeler. The force of the collision was so great that both were thrown from the motorcycle and landed several dozen metres away. The man and woman riding the motorcycle were seriously injured and taken to the hospital in Bolesławiec. Traffic on Kościuszki Street is blocked. The police are establishing the details of the incident.
Pedestrian Hit in Milików
A serious road incident also occurred in Milików (Nowogrodziec municipality). A 16-year-old was hit by a passenger car there. The boy suffered a spinal injury and was taken to the hospital in Bolesławiec.
