On Saturday, 31 May, BKS hosted Pogoń Oleśnica. The match was not a thrilling spectacle. In the first half, the visitors threatened the BKS goal twice. In the first instance, the player failed to hit the target. The second time, Manuel Kowalski made an effective intervention. In the 41st minute, BKS took the lead. The visitors’ goalkeeper was beaten with a technical shot by Paweł Żmudziński.
In the second half, both teams had their chances, but BKS had more of the play. Following one of our team’s attacks, Piotr Dzięgleski was fouled in the penalty area. The referee awarded a penalty, which the victim himself converted (70th minute). The score of 2:0 remained unchanged until the end of the match. BKS defeated Pogoń Oleśnica 2:0 (1:0). A group of young supporters cheered our team throughout the match. The young BKS fans prepared and performed a display for the match (photos in the gallery). In the next round, BKS will play away against AKS Strzegom.
