The Volkswagen caught fire on Monday afternoon near the bridge over the Bóbr River, not far from the exit toward Osiecznica. Drivers initially tried to put out the burning car. Unfortunately, the fire quickly engulfed the entire vehicle. The gas system posed a danger. Fortunately, the vehicle’s owner turned off the gas tank in time. Firefighters eventually brought the fire under control. Unfortunately, the car could not be saved. The probable cause of the fire was a short circuit in the electrical system.
