The former BKS junior coach Henryk Kusojć has taken over as coach of the senior team. He replaced playing coach Paweł Żmudziński, who will remain a BKS player. Until the end of the spring round, coach Kusojć will train both the seniors and the juniors competing in the Lower Silesian Junior League. The schedules of the two teams’ matches do not conflict. With the senior team, the new coach wants to focus above all on ensuring that the players train regularly three times a week. The new coach has already led Thursday’s training session.

The reason for the change of coach is the poor performance of the Bolesławiec team in the fourth division. In the 2013/2014 season, BKS won seven times, drew seven times and suffered 11 defeats. In the 25 matches played so far, the BKS senior team has collected 28 points and is 11th in the table. The team is at risk of relegation to the district league. Five rounds remain until the end of the competition.

The 64-year-old coach Henryk Kusojć has been associated with BKS Bolesławiec for a long time. He is well known in the city’s and county’s football community. Henryk Kusojć has coached players at Chrobry Głogów, Stal Chocianów, Górnik Złotoryja, GKS Raciborowice and GKS Warta Bolesławiecka. We wish the new coach a successful debut in Saturday’s match against Piast Zawidów and three points.
