The competition among participants will run from May to September 2014. Balconies and gardens submitted by residents will take part in the competition, as well as places selected by the competition committee as worthy of notice and prizes. The Board of Presidents of Family Allotment Gardens will select three prize winners from among the allotment gardens.

Entry forms can be collected from the Secretariat of Urząd Miasta Bolesławiec (Town Hall) and the Customer Service Office (office building – pl. Piłsudskiego 1). Completed forms must also be submitted there by 30 May 2014.

The competition is held in the following categories:

  1. most beautifully flower-decorated window;
  2. most beautifully flower-decorated balcony;
  3. most beautifully flower-decorated garden in a multi-family residential building (the garden must be accessible to all residents of the property);
  4. most beautifully flower-decorated garden at a public-use facility;
  5. most beautifully flower-decorated family allotment garden.

Attractive prizes are planned.
