In the 22nd round of the Lower Silesian IV league, BKS hosted the fourth-placed team, LKS Stary Śleszów. In the autumn round, the Bolesławiec side lost 1:3 to Stary Śleszów. Michał Błoński scored BKS’s consolation goal at the time (60th minute). On Holy Saturday (19 April), the two teams met again.
Neither team pushed the pace in the first half. The match was played mainly in the middle of the pitch. In the 15th minute, Tomasz Rudolf headed a shot towards the BKS goal. Fortunately, the attempt was off target. BKS created no dangerous chances during this part of the game.
There was more action on the pitch in the second half. In the 52nd minute, a visiting player tried to surprise Manuela Kowalskiego, but the BKS goalkeeper made a superb save and successfully tipped the ball out of play. In the 60th minute, Piotr Dzięgleski delivered a corner. Marek Majka made the most of the loose ball, making it 1:0 for BKS. A moment later, the visitors had a chance. Radosław Iwan took a free kick, but once again the BKS goalkeeper made an effective intervention and the score remained unchanged. In the 72nd minute, BKS were already leading 2:0. Dariusz Bryjak ran into the visitors’ penalty area with the ball and shot towards the Śleszów goal. The visiting goalkeeper intervened so awkwardly that Marek Majka reached the ball and confidently put it into the net.
When it seemed that all three points would stay in Bolesławiec, the visitors launched an attack. In the 75th minute, Śleszów scored a goal to get back into the match. Following a corner, Daniel Wałęga directed the ball into the BKS goal. Three minutes later, the same player equalised. In the closing stages, BKS had several more chances to score the winning goal, but the score did not change. BKS Bobrzanie – LKS Stary Śleszów 2:2.
