MKS Bolesłavia has been honored by the Marshal of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship for the seventh time. For the points earned in championship competitions, the club received a financial award of 6,000 złoty. The award ceremony was held on Friday, April 4, at the Centrum Kształcenia Zawodowego i Ustawicznego in Legnica.

Bolesłavia ended the 2013 season by setting another record for the number of points earned in the Ministry of Sport and Tourism classification—167.60 points. In the competition among Lower Silesian athletics clubs (youth sport), the Bolesławiec club took third place, finishing ahead of such major athletics training centers as WKS Śląsk Wrocław, MKS Osa Zgorzelec, LKS Górnik Wałbrzych and LKS Polkowice.

Marshal Cezary Przybylski also honored the best municipalities in the voivodeship. Bolesławiec placed a very high eighth. The municipality's success was based solely on points earned by four sports clubs.

  • LMKS Gladius—52 points
  • BKB Bolesławiec—30.75 points
  • KK StarBol—6 points.

The gala's guest of honor was Natalia Czerwonka, a silver medalist in speed skating at the Sochi Olympics.
