The BKS footballers’ away match against Kuźnia Jawor did not go as planned. Our team, fighting to remain in the IV league, lost an important match against the average-performing hosts. There was little action on the pitch during the first 20 minutes. Play took place in the middle of the field. BKS’s first dangerous shot came in the 28th minute. Daniel Ziółkowski then shot towards the goal from 20 metres. The Kuźnia goalkeeper saved the effort with difficulty. A moment later, following a throw-in, Marek Majka headed the ball, but it flew over the crossbar. The missed chances “came back to haunt” BKS in the 32nd minute. Manuel Kowalski was beaten by Bartosz Fitas.
From the start of the second half, BKS tried to equalise. Piotr Dzięglewski missed two chances. The BKS player first shot too weakly and later sent the ball over the crossbar. In the following minutes, the Bolesławiec team attacked, but nothing came of it. The hosts “walled off” access to their goal and waited for an opportunity to launch a counterattack. In the 60th minute, Daniel Ziółkowski shot at the Kuźnia goal again. Unfortunately, the shot was off target. In the 78th minute, the hosts launched a counterattack, but Manuel Kowalski effectively stopped the Jawor player in a one-on-one situation. In the 88th minute, following a throw-in, Józef Pietrzak headed towards the goal, but the Kuźnia goalkeeper was not caught off guard. After a poor match, BKS lost to Kuźnia Jawor 0–1 (0–1). In the next round, our footballers will face Olimpia Kowary at home.
