Italian Evening, organised by the Municipal Culture and Sports Centre in Bolesławiec, took place on Sunday, 23 March, in Kruszyn. The event was opened by Roman Jaworski, deputy head of Gmina Bolesławiec.
Guests could enjoy Italian specialities: spaghetti, mini pizzas and ciabatta, prepared by employees of Pizzeria Tomato from Tomaszów Bolesławiecki. There was also an auction of artwork made by children from the art studio run by Krystyna Grela. The proceeds from the auction (PLN 1,250) were donated to support Jakub Legieżyński, who has leukaemia.
One of the event’s highlights was a pizza-spinning demonstration by Ireneusz Suszek and Kuba Janicki from Pizzeria Tomato.
Performers on stage included the Five Freaks band (Grzegorz Oślak, Krzysztof Zawrotniak and Patryk Kucharczyk), students of the Music Studio run by Agnieszka Orawiec (Monika Dymarska, Daria Gala, Natalia Dudziak, Milena Gajewska, Julia Wąsik, Daria Konefał, Marlena Szczęsna, Patryk Smogur, Oskar Smogur and Gordian Czerkawski) and the duo Elisa and Denise Laudani.
