In their first match after the winter break, the senior team of BKS Bobrzanie will host Orzeł Ząbkowice Śląskie. The match will be played on Saturday, March 22, at the stadium on Spółdzielcza Street in Bolesławiec. Kick-off is at 3:00 p.m.

In the previous round, the Bolesławiec team lost 1–2 to Orzeł, taking the lead after Zbigniew Mastalerz’s goal in the 23rd minute, and then conceding two goals in stoppage time from penalties. Therefore, Saturday’s contest promises to be very interesting. Paweł Żmudziński’s team will certainly want to avenge the unlucky defeat.

With the match against Ząbkowice, the BKS team will begin its spring campaign. During the winter break, Zbigniew Mastalerz, Wojciech Glanc and Filip Paluchowicz left the team; Paluchowicz transferred to Czarni Żagań. The team was joined by Dariusz Bryjak, a 23-year-old midfielder developed by Promień Żary, who most recently played for Piast Zawidów. The BKS team will also be strengthened in the spring round by Kamil Ganczarek, a 28-year-old defender who has played, among others, for Sprotavia Szprotawa, Sparta Grabik and Twardy Świętoszów, and most recently for Piast Iłowa.

After the autumn round, the BKS senior team is 13th in the league table and is at risk of relegation to the district class. The team has collected 19 points: 5 wins, 4 draws and 8 defeats. More information can be found on the club’s website BKS Bobrzanie
