It may seem that everyone has at least heard of the symposium. Not necessarily. Even when someone had come across the name, they were surprised to learn that it was a major artistic event. The statements have been published in their original wording.
Boleslawiec.org: What important international artistic event do we have in Bolesławiec?
Kasia: In Bolesławiec? I don't know. Well, maybe the Ceramic Days or Bolesławiec Days?
B.org: And have you heard of the Ceramic and Sculpture Symposium?
K: Yes, it's happening now. In a month, I think.
B.org: Do you think this event is important for the city?
K: Of course it's important... (silence)
B.org: Why?
K: Ceramics have basically been around in Bolesławiec for quite some time.
Danuta: Now in Bolesławiec? Definitely the ceramic symposium.
B.org: Is it an important event?
D: Definitely. It is usually organized at ceramic plants. I know because I happen to work there.
Gosia: Bolesławiec Days. International? Well, then I'm not familiar with it.
B.org: And have you heard of the Ceramic and Sculpture Symposium?
G: Well, I know it exists. I thought it was organized during Bolesławiec Days, all those exhibitions and fairs of our ceramics.
B.org: And do you know which edition it is?
G: I have no idea.
Mariusz: I don't know.
B.org: And have you heard of the Ceramic and Sculpture Symposium?
M: Oh, right. This sculpture symposium is happening now.
B.org: And do you know which one?
M: (after a moment's thought) The fourth?
B.org: The fortieth.
M: The fortieth already?!
B.org: Is it an important event for the city?
M: Well, I suppose so.
B.org: Why?
M: Bolesławiec is basically famous for ceramics. For symposiums in general. It is known throughout Lower Silesia. And the Ceramic Festival too.
Henryk: The Ceramic Festival is happening now. It's a major event.
B.org: And is there any event connected with this festival?
H: Bolesławiec Spring. A very major event.
B.org: And have you heard of the Ceramic and Sculpture Symposium?
H: The ceramic one? Yes, well, it will be in Bolesławiec.
