On Saturday, 8 March, BKS played its sixth friendly match in Żary. Paweł Żmudziński’s team faced third-tier side Promień Żary. BKS took the lead as early as the 9th minute. The hosts’ goalkeeper was beaten by Marek Majka. Promień equalised shortly afterwards, and the score remained 1:1 until half-time. The hosts scored the winning goal near the end of the match.
– Our team played well. Our commitment was evident. We played against a demanding opponent, and at times you could not even see the difference in the level of competition. We had several chances. Marek Majka, Emmanuel Ohagwu and Paweł Rissmann had opportunities, but they failed to take them – commented team manager Henryk Szewc.

Next week (16 March), BKS will play an away cup match in Łomnica against the local KS. The match, part of the quarter-finals of the Polish Regional Cup, will begin at 14:30.
