The first half of Friday’s match began with a dangerous BKS attack. In the 4th minute, after a pass from Robert Nitarski, Józef Pietrzak sent an accurate shot at the Łużyce goal, but the visiting goalkeeper confidently caught the ball. From the outset, BKS played a positional attacking game, while the visitors defended access to their goal and attacked on the counter. In the 18th minute, Łukasz Duduć shot at the BKS goal, but Marek Przykłota was not caught off guard. Until the end of the first half, the Bolesławiec side had plenty of chances to score. Unfortunately, the shots were either inaccurate or too weak to surprise the visiting goalkeeper. Grzegorz Nowak (an inaccurate header), Tomasz Jasiński (the ball just over the crossbar) and Radosław Pietkiewicz (missing the ball) had good opportunities to score. In the 38th minute, Marek Przykłota made a good intervention. The BKS goalkeeper caught the ball after a shot by Paweł Siciński.

The course of play changed in the second half. Players from both teams played at a faster pace. In the 53rd minute, Tomasz Jasiński once again failed to take advantage of a good opportunity. His shot flew over Sławomir Kukiełka’s crossbar. In the 63rd minute, following a fine move, Łukasz Rudyk headed towards the Łużyce goal, but the visiting goalkeeper made an effective save. A minute later, the crossbar saved the visitors from conceding. Marcin Szaja produced a dangerous shot on that occasion. The visitors responded with a dangerous free-kick in the 67th minute, but the BKS goalkeeper saved it effectively.

The final stages of the match became very tense. There were many fouls and free-kicks. Unfortunately, the Bolesławiec side were unable to make use of set pieces, counterattacks or positional attacks. In the 81st minute, the crossbar saved BKS from conceding. Seven minutes later, Tomasz Jasiński had another chance to score. The BKS player sent a powerful and accurate shot, but once again the Łużyce goalkeeper was not caught off guard. Mateusz Mucha missed BKS’s final scoring opportunity, failing to find the net after a free-kick delivery. BKS Bolesławiec drew 0–0 at home with Łużyce Lubań. The goalkeepers deserved recognition in both teams. In particular, the Łużyce goalkeeper, who saved several very dangerous and powerful shots. Łukasz Rudyk performed well for BKS. The Bolesławiec player stood out on the pitch despite not scoring.
