BKS Bobrzanie’s senior team are preparing for the spring round of the Lower Silesian fourth division. In two friendly matches, the Bolesławiec side drew twice. The first draw came in Zgorzelec, where Bolesławiec faced local team Nysa. Our team led 2–0 at halftime. Both goals were scored by Dariusz Bryjak (the 23-year-old midfielder, a Promień Żary youth product, signed by BKS, who most recently played for Piast Zawidów). After the break, Nysa scored twice and the match ended 2–2.
In the second friendly, BKS faced Sprotavia Szprotawa in Żagań. This match also ended in a 2–2 draw. BKS’s opponents led 2–0 at halftime, but after the change of ends our team drew level with goals from Marcin Kraśnicki and Paweł Rissmann. BKS started the match with: Kowalski – Bryłkowski, B. Błoński, M. Błoński, Janicki, Ziółkowski, J. Bochnia, Wojciechowski, Bryjak, Majka, Kraśnicki. Also appearing were: Kulesza, B. Bochnia, Pietrzak, Kliwak, Ohagwu and Rissmann.
Next Saturday (15 February), BKS will face ŁKS Łęknica. The friendly will be played at 9:30 on the artificial pitch in Żagań.
In the spring round, BKS will no longer have Wojciech Glanc, Zbigniew Mastalerz or Filip Paluchowicz. These players will appear for Czarni Żagań.
After the autumn round, BKS’s senior team are 13th in the league table and face the threat of relegation to the regional league. The team has collected 19 points (5 wins, 4 draws and 8 defeats). More information can be found on the club’s website, BKS Bobrzanie
