The incident occurred after 6:00 p.m. on Modłowa Street, near the Zehnder company. The driver of a Volvo passenger car first hit a pedestrian. Later, he drove onto the pavement, where he hit a woman. The man died, and the woman was injured. Ambulance paramedics provided her with first aid at the scene, after which she was taken to hospital. The driver did not suffer serious injuries.
The place where the pedestrian was hit is completely dark. The cause of the collision is not yet known. It is possible that the driver did not see the pedestrian.
