BTS began the two-match playoff for fifth place in the third division. The away match against TS Volley Żarów is under way. Our volleyball players won the first set 25:17.
Update
In the first two sets, the Bolesławiec team completely outplayed the Żarów side. We won the first set 25:17 and the second 25:14. It seemed that the match had already been decided. Unfortunately, in the third set our team became complacent. The Bolesławiec players began making numerous errors, which the hosts eagerly exploited, winning the next two sets 25:18 and 25:17.
Fortunately, in the tie-break, the Bolesławieckie Towarzystwo Siatkarskie team once again showed its class, winning the set 15:10 and the entire match 3:2 (25:17, 25:14, 18:25, 17:25, 15:10).
Our team once again played with an experimental lineup. The absence of a setter and an attacker (elbow injury) was noticeable. BTS's coach is Krzysztof Mosiądz.
BTS Bolesławiec: Kamil Biczak, Damian Śliwiński, Łukasz Krawiec, Paweł Rutkowski, Wojciech Marcinkiewicz, Robert Walkowiak, Tomasz Włoszczyński (libero), and Marek Baran and Jakub Czyżewski.
Second leg 8 February at the sports hall of the Henryk Sucharski Comprehensive and Vocational Schools in Bolesławiec (Komuny Paryskiej Street).
Bolesławieckie Towarzystwo Siatkarskie thanks the Bolesławiec County Board and Laura Słocka-Przydróżna, director of ZSOiZ, for making the hall at Komuny Paryskiej Street available free of charge.
