The Municipal Cemetery on Śluzowa Street (the old German name of the street: Am Wehrberg) is the former New Evangelical Cemetery, established at the turn of the 1920s and 1930s. It had a location away from the town centre characteristic of cemeteries of that period. The chapel was designed in the mid-nineteenth century.
